Privacy policy.

Last updated: 5 November 2026.

This site doesn't use analytics, advertising or cookies. The only personal data I actively collect is what you choose to send me.

Who I am

I'm Cait Lorenzo-Mahon, and I'm responsible for your personal data on this site. If you have a question or a request about it, email me at caitlorenzomahon@gmail.com.

If you request my CV

The CV request form asks for your name, email address, job title and company. I use these only to reply to your request and to follow up on any opportunity we go on to discuss. I rely on my legitimate interest in responding to people who contact me about my work, and I won't add you to a mailing list.

Your details are sent through Web3Forms (opens in new tab), a form service, and delivered to my Gmail inbox, which is run by Google. I keep them for up to 12 months after we were last in touch, then delete them, unless we're still talking or you ask me to delete them sooner.

If you email me

If you email me or message me on LinkedIn, I'll use whatever you send to reply, on the same basis and for the same length of time.

Hosting

This site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub logs visitors' IP addresses for security purposes. I can't see these logs, and you can read more in the GitHub Privacy Statement (opens in new tab).

Your browser's storage

This site doesn't set cookies. If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your own browser. It never reaches me, and you can clear it through your browser's settings.

The Space Snake game saves your high score and settings in the same way. It's also the one page that loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser shares your IP address with Google when you open it.

Sharing your data

I don't sell your data, and I only share it with the services named on this page. Some of them may process it outside the UK. Other sites I link to have their own privacy policies.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you can ask me to:

  • give you a copy of the personal data I hold about you
  • correct it if it's wrong
  • delete it
  • limit how I use it, or stop using it
  • send it to you or someone else in a format that's easy to reuse

To do any of these, email me. Some of these rights have limits, and I'll explain if one applies. I'll reply within one month.

If you're unhappy with how I've handled your data, please tell me first so I can try to put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (opens in new tab), the UK's data protection regulator.

Changes to this policy

If anything changes, I'll update this page and the date at the top.

Get in touch

I'm open to new opportunities, interesting projects, and good conversations. Drop me a message - I'd love to hear from you.
