Designer turned developer.

I care how it looks and how it runs.

I build fast, accessible, sustainable websites, from design and components through to Core Web Vitals, SEO and analytics, so the UX is never an afterthought.

My instincts were shaped by years as a Senior Graphic Designer, where I learned colour theory, typography and visual hierarchy long before I wrote my first line of code. I still use all of it.

I mainly work in Drupal and WordPress, and also create custom sites with React and Node.js. My background spans charity, healthcare, e-commerce and construction, plus a BSc in Computing & IT studied part-time alongside full-time work.

I care about making the web lighter on the planet, whether that's trimming bloated pages or compressing the 23MB image someone just uploaded.

A leaner site loads faster, ranks better and works for everyone, on any device or connection.
